Anchor Inn - Nantucket

This place suits me perfectly! The wi-fi, luggage storage, and air conditioning make everything easy. I fondly remember how the staff cared for my elderly parents during my first visit. Highly recommend! I'm coming back for a romantic escape.

Our experience was fantastic from the moment we checked in, will be back. That was absolutely great hotel set in great area, really close to the excellent WHALING MUSEUM, brimming with NANTUCKET history for the whole family, a cruise ship in size-or smaller, and beaches. Really enjoyed our beautiful room with comfy bed and the staff were super. The breakfast was exceptional, brilliant service.

Units with fantastic shower pressure. Everyone was extremely friendly and amazingly friendly as well as host.

The quaint and cozy rooms felt historic, but the wooden floor had cracks.

The Queen Room was spacious and had a nice character. The bed was firm, which I loved, and the linens felt luxurious. I appreciated the blinds for daytime privacy and the historic decor added charm. Everything was clean and tidy. Just a heads-up, the bathroom is a bit tight for anyone who needs more space. The stairs are steep if you're lugging heavy bags.

A cozy stay with good surprises

Woke up to delicious homemade scones and friendly chats with Nate, who treated us like family. The cozy common areas made our evenings extra special.

While our attic room was charming, the slanted roof made it tricky to navigate the twin beds without some bumps. Couldn't enjoy reading in bed.

perfectly situated for exploring nantucket's best attractions

We really loved how close we were to the Whaling Museum, just a short walk away, and the charming American Seasons restaurant was even closer. The staff were also so friendly. As a family with children, we appreciated the clean and spacious room, ideal for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing.

Breakfast was a simple fruit offering and coffee, but the roll was inedible. Try to arrive early for breakfast. It runs out fast.

A good stay highlighted by a great location. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, with an adequate continental breakfast. The breakfast selection was limited, and on one morning, it wasn't ready by 8:30 AM. cleanliness was a concern when I spotted a rat in the kitchen area. This was particularly disappointing given the nightly rate of $289.

Couldn't recommend more for a brief retreat

Charming room, cozy atmosphere, our Queen Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, and the location was fantastic, just a short 6-minute walk to the ferry and nearby restaurants.
